Short-term visa (C visa), purpose of stay: Transit

If you are transiting through the Republic of Serbia while traveling to another country, you can apply for a C visa.

Documents required:

  1. a completed visa application form (within online application, or a printed copy if applying at a diplomatic-consular mission);
  2. a valid passport that must have been issued within the previous 10 years and is valid at least 90 days after the intended date of departure from the Republic of Serbia. The passport also needs to have at least two consecutive blank pages;
  3. applicant’s photo;
  4. proof of possession of adequate and valid travel medical insurance;
  5. proof of visa fee payment (electronic application is submitted to the competent authority upon payment of fee and recording of payment).

Additionally, to demonstrate the purpose of travel and the applicant's intention to leave the Republic of Serbia before the expiration of the requested visa, it is recommended to provide:

  • a scanned visa of the country you are entering from the territory of the Republic of Serbia, if required, or other proof you will continue your travel (travel ticket, proof of reasons for traveling to another country, etc.);
  • proof of financial means at disposal for covering the costs of living during the intended stay.
