Short-term visa (C visa), purpose of stay: Diplomatic and official entry

If you are a holder of a diplomatic or official passport of a country with which the Republic of Serbia has a visa regime for these types of passports and you intend to stay in the Republic of Serbia for up to 90 days within any 180-day period, you need a C visa.

Documents required:

  1. a completed visa application form (within online application, or a printed copy if applying at a diplomatic-consular mission);
  2. a valid diplomatic or official passport that must have been issued within the previous 10 years and is valid at least 90 days after the intended date of departure from the Republic of Serbia. The passport also needs to have at least two consecutive blank pages;
  3. applicant’s photo;
  4. a diplomatic note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or diplomatic-consular mission of the foreign country or note from international organization or its representative office in the Republic of Serbia.

Diplomatic and official entry (initial visa)

If you are taking up a post in the diplomatic-consular mission of a country with which the initial visa regime is in force, you need to apply for initial visa for yourself and your family members who will be staying with you during your term of office.

Documents required:

  1. a completed visa application form (within online application, or a printed copy if applying at a diplomatic-consular mission);
  2. a valid diplomatic or official passport;
  3. applicant’s photo;
  4. a diplomatic note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the sending country or international organization requesting the issuance of initial visa.
